If you were identified as an iMail email user and received an e-mail from Med School Computing stating that the Mount Sinai School of Medicine’s iMail system is
nearing its end-of-life. All students that will not be graduating this
May, and faculty that currently use imail.mssm.edu as their email system will
be migrated to the Microsoft Exchange email systems beginning May 15th
2012. The institution will stop support on this legacy platform due to
the lack of vendor support and failure to meet I.T. security requirements.
If you graduated in May 2012, or are an alumnus/ae of
the school of medicine, or have been previously employed by the medical center
your iMail account will no longer be available after September 1, 2012.
The Mount Sinai Alumni Association provides a forwarding Alumni Email address to all alumni from The Mount Sinai Medical Center. These are forwarding accounts that enable you to use a Mount Sinai alias (email@example.com) and any e-mail sent to that address will be forwarded to your personal accounts (G-mail, Yahoo, MSN etc.)
Please follow the registration process to create a forwarding e-mail account.
